The Cure!

Yes, I've found the cure for gravida infinitum. It is natalis fetus gigantus.

This I have accomplished.

Announcing the arrival of Irina Kealoha at 12:12am, February 14. Born at home with her siblings to welcome her.

Are you ready for the measurements?

10lbs 10oz (after a rather healthy poop all over Mama!) 22 inches long.

For your amusement... some pictures:

Now THAT's a baby!

Congratulations and thanks for sharing. Nothing could be better than having a lovely prize on such a special day of the year. And every year from this point on, many people will celebrate her birthday with flowers, chocolate, jewelry and, uh, maybe sex but that's a whole different story!

Congratulations. Your daughter is beautiful.

I've stopped by a couple times via Thordora, but I wanted to comment on a couple of those pictures.

1) I love, love, love that your hubby is wearing a shirt that says, "Who's Your Daddy?"
Since I don't have a hubs, I think a onesie that says, "Who's Your Illegitimate Baby's Daddy?" might be fun.

2) Your complete and udder lack of stretch marks shocks me (in a good way!)

3) You have a very beautiful family. Really.

To borrow from Maya Angelou, let me just say that you are an absolutely Phenomenal Woman!
You're an inspiration to all of us.
Ten lbs vaginally? That is the definition of courage and strength.
That's *exactly* how I want to deliver someday. (well, maybe minus the poop)
I'm so proud of you!
